This evening I might have done what I normally do. Stayed in and scrounged food with whatever was available, while constantly having both the tv and computer on and feeling kind of dazed and lonely.

But I didn't. ^_^

Instead, I went out and bought some ingredients, and used some existing things in the fridge to make a 20-minute very nom-y beef stew from a recipe in one of my books, added potatoes and celery to it, toasted bread, and ate it -- along with wine and apple juice and some nice subtle green tea all while watching Fruits Basket curled up on the couch with my blanket. Then I did that some more with cookie dough and strawberries and milk and more tea, also folding clean warm laundry at one point.

Then I took a break to write a really adorable xkcd and Me-inspired stick-figure comic about the perfect recipe for love (details to come!), while listening to music.

I am very pleased with myself. ^_^
